Nick Pinnock, the President of the European Dodgeball has passed away
Dear friends,
It is with great regret that we have to inform The Dodgeball World the sad news that Nick Pinnock, the President of the European Dodgeball Federation and World Dodgeball Association Council Member, has passed away.
As a founder member of the UK Dodgeball Association, Nick was the heart and soul of the adult dodgeball community since the sport began in 2005. Nick’s unwavering dedication to the sport saw the adult game grow and grow over the last 10 years. Nick’s greatest achievements in the game saw the introduction of the British Championships, the Dodgeball Premier League and National Leagues to follow, the Home Nations and European Championships along with a full calendar of adult events.
Nick will be sorely missed throughout the UK, Europe and Dodgeball community worldwide. We would like to thank Nick for everything he has achieved in the sport and contributed to the growth of Dodgeball.
A tribute will take place at the inaugural 2016 Dodgeball World Cup in Manchester at the opening ceremony on Saturday 16th April.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Nick’s family. We will surely miss the presence of a truly loveable and kind person.
In our thoughts now and forever.
